I saw the first stork in Germany in this year. He's back from the South. It will spring. Storks breed in many parts of Eastern and Western Europe. The winter they can not survive in Europe, as their main food (earthworms, insects) in the Winter is missing. That's why they move southward to Africa, to spend the winter. They follow the Nile Valley to the south. In the savannas and semi deserts of Sudan they create a several weeks of rest and eat their fat reserves for their flight to East and Southern Africa and for their flight back. And now the first storks are back. I think they have brought greetings from you. We German are told that the stork brings the babies .
