Recommendations
1) We found that the best way to run the project is to assign a trustee person (director or teacher) to be responsible of the money at each school. He/she pay assigned sum each week or two weeks to one of the ladies selling breakfast at the school to prepare breakfast for targeted school kids who can’t afford buying breakfast.
2) The nature of the job is hard and time consuming. I recommend that more than one person should be assigned to the project.
3) Local contributions are limited; therefore efforts should be made to attract reliable local contributors.
4) Verbal promises of donation should not be accounted for.
5) Try to expand the umbrella of the project to include other schools. Current school covered are five, the number of the school should be more than 5 Schools.
6) Try to expand the project to include school uniforms, book notes and stationeries.
Provide transportation and financial help to the person handing out the money to the school on regular basis.
9) School kids value the effort of the project and hope for the effort to continue.
Thirdly, gained advantages from the project
1) Non-profit nature of the project directed towards our school kids for God sake.
2) Expand the charity works in the forum.
3) Project efforts are made known in every home and school.
4) Transparency in financial matters and continuous follow-up monitoring.
Fourthly The disadvantages the project
1) The project depended on the effort of one person throughout the period.
2) Due to limited financial resources only small group was targeted.
3) False promises hit hard project reliability.
Results and recommendations
1) The project should be handed to a new group. The project has no debts; instead it has enough money with Sister Huda Awad Allah for the next year.
2) Transparent managing of the money is vital to the further success of the project.
3) Due to personal reasons I am not able to continue with this project.
4) The remaining money will be submitted to Huda Awad Allah with details in order that all donors could see how the project developed itself during the past year.
I urge everyone to review this report and inform us if there are any mistakes.
O God, bear witness reached.
